Elisabeth Arbuckle is a graphic designer by training, an art teacher by experience and an artist inspired by the world around her. Elisabeth attended art colleges in Wales and England, gaining a B.A. in graphic design and an Art Teachers Diploma. She has taught art in schools in the U.K., The Bahamas and Canada. Her work is detailed and demonstrates a love of colour and line. She works mainly in acrylics and mixed-media but also loves the tactile quality of working with clay. Elisabeth has called Ottawa home for the passed thirty plus years, she is currently retired and enjoys the blessings of watching her grand children grow and working as a full time artist.
